Built for Gold Coast locals who rise early
Kneerestore began when a few Surfers Paradise neighbours wanted a friendly morning routine—without gym culture or competitive walking clubs.
Our origin on Orchid Avenue
In 2019 we tested a single Tuesday shoreline loop. Participants asked for clearer notes on shade, seating, and pacing. That feedback shaped every route card we publish today.
We now coordinate walks from Suite 4/3-15 Orchid Ave with volunteer hosts who live nearby. The desk is where we print sheets, store spare water, and answer questions before you commit to a session.
Principles we keep visible
- Small groups so hosts can notice when someone needs a slower segment.
- Plain language on every sheet—surface type, distance, and toilet access.
- Optional social time after walks; never mandatory introductions.
- Open questions welcomed by email before your first morning out.
How we grew on the Coast
First Tuesday foreshore loop trialled with eight locals.
Route cards introduced with shade, distance, and toilet notes.
Orchid Avenue coordination desk opened for printed sheets and enquiries.
Weekday strolls remain complimentary; paid weekend blocks listed on Sessions.
Who leads the walks
Hosts are trained in route safety, local weather patterns, and group coordination. They carry a basic kit, know emergency contacts, and rotate so no single person bears every early start.
We do not position walks as therapy or treatment. They are social movement activities in public spaces, offered with care and realistic expectations.
